Tej Gill
Chairman
Tej was introduced to Indus Golf by its founder Ike Sekhon back in 2001 and has served on the Indus Committee since 2006. As the Chairman for the 2009 season, his goal is to make Indus Golf a top notch association of South Asian golfers, by working with fellow members, sponsors and community leaders. He usually spends time with his family in Southlake, but does not miss an opportunity to play golf with his associates.

Rajdeep Brar
Captain
Rajdeep has been playing the Indus tournaments since his arrival in Dallas from India in 2001, and now wants to help Indus Golf grow. He is a keen sportsman, having represented India in Squash in World and Asian championships. After a hectic 15 years as an Indian Army Paratrooper, he feels the time has come to focus on his golf and indulge in his passion for the game with his kids.

Upinder Ghumann
Public Relations
Upinder has been around the game of golf since childhood, back in India, and for the last 15 yrs since coming to the US. He was introduced to the South Asian golfing community back in 1998 by Ike Sekhon, who asked him for a round of golf one Sunday morning. Following the start of the Indus golfing effort by Ike, and then the formation of the Indus Golf Association to honor the legacy of Iron Ike, Upinder has never have had to be reminded of an upcoming round of golf. In the present committee role, Upinder wants to make sure that we keep our south Asian golfing community growing

Priyank Johri
Handicap Secretary
Priyank started playing golf in 2006. He has played various sports having represented his college in both Badminton and Tennis in India. He also likes to hike, mountain bike and ski whenever he gets the chance. As a part of 2009 Indus Golf committee, he hopes to get new golfers involved in the game of golf and expand his social network by connecting with like-minded golfers in the area.

Sarath K Balachandran
Website Maintenance
Sarath became a member of Indus Golf in April 2009 and offered to takeup the challenge of managing the Indus Website. The first time Sarath touched a golf club was when his wife gifted him a golf set for his 29th birthday. He started to play regularly thereafter and learned the game from friends and a couple of PGA professionals. Sarath lives in Los Colinas with his wife, Gomathy, and daughter, Sahana.
