About Indus Golf
Founder
Indus Golf was established in 2000 by Mr. Ike Sekhon to promote the game of golf within the South Asian community in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Indus Golf began with two golf tournaments in the Spring and Fall each year. In 2006, we formalized the association with the election of a committee and the acceptance of by-laws. The formation of this league with events played around courses in the DFW area has proved to be hugely successful and immensely popular.
In the summer of 2006 we mourned the passing of our founder and mentor 'Iron' Ike Sekhon. In the Fall of 2006 we played the 1st IRON IKE MEMORIAL. A tradition we hope to continue for many years to come

You may be a no name arrival Or on top of the totem pole,I will offer you my camaraderieThis is my real goal.I will pick you up Or drop you off with a smile And a promise to meet again.
I will follow the rules of golf,They really are the rules of life.Respect them and they are yours for life.If you follow them on the course,They will be your inner force.If you move your ball Without a just cause, I will watch you,But I will play on with a pause.
